Punyakoti Krashi Gramina Abhivraddhi Sansthe, Jalihal is a nonprofit organization established in the year 2009 in Jalihal Village, Badami Taluk, Bagalkot. We work for Youth, Women Empowerment, Health and Rural Development Programs in and around Bagalkot District. So far we have reached 5000 people in Bagalkot. Our Objectives : 1. The main objective of the society is to carry out activities promoting and developing folk and classical art in the field of education, and medical relief for the poor and needy. .2. To facilitate everyone to get proper education to live as good citizens in the society. 3. To establish and run English/Kannada medium schools on behalf of the organization. Starting English medium schools to help the present generation in getting higher education as well as looking for job or business opportunities outside Karnataka.

We focus on the education of children, especially the most vulnerable from birth to 11 years old. Our organization's volunteers often work from disadvantaged backgrounds in early childhood development, education, and other aspects of the education sector in Bagalkot.

We work with the most vulnerable, marginalized women to empower them economically. We listen to their needs and strengthen local resources and ecology to create sustainable livelihoods. We provide state-of-the-art solutions – skill development programs, self-employment programs, and local enterprises tailored to women's circumstances, aspirations, and strengths.
Wheelchair Distribution
In collaboration with Pragati Charitable Trust (RI) Bangalore, we distributed wheelchairs to 14 differently-abled persons of villages under Jalihala Zilla Panchayat on behalf of Punyakoti Krishi Rural Development Institute (RI) at Gandhi Bhawan, Seshadripuram, Bangalore....jpeg)

Constitution Day
Constitution Day was celebrated on 26th November 2023 at Government School Jalihal Village to create awareness about the Constitution of India. Self Employment Training Workshop
We organized self-employment training workshop for differently abled, women and youth at Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Sabhabhavan, Jalihal Village. More than 150 people participated in the workshop.
Cloth for Work (CFW)
We work with communities to identify infrastructural improvements that need to be undertaken in the Jalihal village. Villagers then work to dig wells, clean ponds, repair roads, and build schools in the community, for which they are compensated with material resources like clothing, utensils, furniture, and food grains.It is the small change that makes the biggest impact.
